JACKHAMMER PRAYER:

It's NOT a matter of 

"IF". . . but. . . "WHEN "!

UPDATE ON DAVID MANUEL & PRAYER STRATEGY 

We can not possibly express just how much all of you, who have prayed, called, visited, sent cards, fasted and donated to the cause of David's healing, mean to us. - Thanks!

 James 5:15-17 (KJV)

 ¹⁵And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

 ¹⁶Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth MUCH!

 ¹⁷Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

    A few years ago, I watched a jackhammer crew on the "big dig" in Boston. On the chilly morning, the foreman was peacefully sipping coffee, chatting with his crew, nonchalantly while one man violently jimmied every nerve in his body, as he bounced up and down on a jackhammer! 

    I looked at what he was working away at so intently. Concrete, a whole street of it marked off before him. At the rate he was going, I wondered how long that would take. It could definitely be discouraging for someone as ignorant of the process as I was.

    While I watched, his foreman looked at his watch, reached up and tapped the man. Hardly any of the concrete had budged. Was he being told something about failing? I expected the Foreman to give him more instructions or maybe a rebuke?

But no! The jackhammer operator removed his goggles and another took his place, while he gratefully accepted an outstretched hand with coffee, and relaxed with the guys as  if he had not just been so actively engaged in that nerve-racking job.

    There was an ease, a grace, and more than that an air of assurance. As I watched, they all took turns in the same manner, a team. Evidently, one man is not allowed to stay on that piece of equipment alone for long. I guess that could cause nerve damage. 

Suddenly one jackhammer operator broke through the concrete. It shattered as ripples cracked up far more than the immediate focus under his feet. The team rejoiced!

The Holy Spirit spoke to me, "It is not a matter of IF but WHEN. They are experienced. They work as a team. They would be more surprised if they hadn't broken through on that morning shift as they expected. This is how it is to be in corporate prayer. 

James 5:15-17, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth  much" 

• The effectual prayer WILL break through as assuredly as that jackhammer did.
•  

The fervent prayer WILL not quit.

What if that team had quit short of that last rat-a-tat-tat, only one jab too early? A split second later, the whole obstinate block of concrete shattered, sending it's shock wave down the street.

Righteous. That is covenant standing with God. That is being in the GOD TEAM with assured results!

Availeth much. Why don't church folk see more miracles? They simply don't stay at it long enough or work effectively as a team.

      I was listening to Norval Hayes teach on healing one time and he spoke to 40 warts on his daughter's skin for over a month and nothing changed. Suddenly one morning Jesus walked into his house and they were all gone. He had not wavered or grown weary in well doing and in due season he won!

    We get busy. And we don't prevail. Then we blame God or the sick person and fabricate kooky theologies to explain our own failures. Prayer Failures. Failure to pray. Failure to have tenacity to prevail. Its' not a question of IF we will prevail, only of when; if we DON'T Quit!

    And people do quit because they get worn out when satan is throwing everything at them at once, which is what happens when a loved one is sick. Finances crumble, businesses and office work amass, social circles crumble, depression, fear, pain and loneliness set in, bringing darkness and oppression, making the battle look even less attractive to all but advanced warriors. If satan can quarter us off like a grain of wheat on the threshing floor, he crushes us, to force us to drop out of the race and give up. 

     We need each other. And that love brings grace, assurance, refreshing, encouragement and results! Miracles! We are to run like foot soldiers, together in unity in a bond of love, laying down our lives for one another as we see our brother in need, not shutting up the bowels of compassion. What is holding back the Great Revival? We are! 

My husband, David Manuel, has lived his whole adult life yearning for one thing more than all else,; AWAKENING & REVIVAL. He and his writing buddy, Peter Marshall, created classic volumes tracing the founding of America in God's plan, and longed like Simeon, to lay eyes upon the visitation of God before they died. Peter is gone, but David is alive and well. (It is well with my soul! The Shulamite woman told Elijah that, when her son, the result of prophetic ministry, had actually already died. The prophet raised him from the dead because her faith hadn't quit her!)

We are the 'healed of the Lord" the "Well" ones. Jesus has done all he is going to do about that, over 2000 years ago. Now what to stay 'well'?

You have to access your heavenly bank account. Sometimes that takes some doing. It takes prayer persistently. And if there is a creative miracle needed, you have to keep traveling in the spirit on a journey to that heavenly bank account over and over again until substance fills the void.

You can get weary if alone, but prayer partners who will fast and pray with you can make all the difference.                                    

A friend of mine, Brenda, waged such a prayer battle for her sister after she nearly died in childbirth. Intercessors flew into Thousand Oaks California, from around the nation and took shifts around the bed, quoting the healing promises, praying in tongues 24/7 for two months. One morning, her sister, Chia Ruse, was as comatose as ever, but the next second, as a phone was put to her ear, with the voice of a man in prayer calling her to arise, she suddenly darted up from her bed! Shocked the nurses!

These past two weeks have been a trial of our faith. David was hospitalized for bleeding internally and many other symptoms arose. He needs some miracles for various afflictions attacking his body right now. But he is in great spirits, at home, up, working on his novel about Noah's Ark. He is watching daily for a good report on his life long work of a screenplay about Valley Forge, that we left with a potential producer in hollywood three weeks ago. A man of vision, he has been putting together the backbone plan of Light & Glory rallies that our nation needs right now!

We do not want to see his progress stop and I believe God has a long life planned for him and better ways for him to spend it than in doctor's offices with pain or endless treatments, worrying about medical bills. There is FAITH, and he has that. There is PRAYER and you can help us!

      Even though we rejoice for those who have responded and truly been friends that stick closer than a brother, I remain curious as to why we have not heard from everyone we had hoped to contact in our email news alert. One can put a thousand to flight and two ten thousand, we need you! Constant Contact sends us a summary that shows who opens these newsletters. We are hoping you will please join us in prayer and support. I believe this is vitally important for David's healing and bounce back into the ministry God yet has for him to fulfill in the earth. America needs him. NOW.

      We have a full time prayer ministry at the TULSA PRAYER HOUSE, an active book ministry, weekly radio show in Boston OK, speaking engagements and critically important work in Washington DC, ministering to many in areas of National Security and circles of political influence that make a difference. Who doesn't want us to succeed? The enemy can not be allowed to win. I believe the attacks on our health, staff, and funding are because we have literally been on the cutting edge, quite a threat.  And many of you are there too.

David is a tither deluxe and for the tither's sake God will rebuke the devourer. That is a scriptural anchor we can all agree upon as a place in this battle ground for a miracle isn't it? We can set the limits and the boundaries too! I heard of an evangelist that set a 'blood line' covenant boundary around his farm and five rabid foxes trying to cross his barbed wire fence line were hung in it the next day! We can set the limits that the enemy can't cross!
• Can you "call" in prayer for laborers who will passionately, skillfully work in our office, faithfully as unto the Lord? Sometimes that entails long hard hours behind the scenes in unglamorous work. Pray for our secretary Jennifer and our prayer Chaplain Tony and our marketing specialist Roy and our web masters Wade & Will.  And out volunteers,, Lynn, Sharon, Lou and Edwin. They all need your prayers. Even our pet sitter Rose.                                AND WRITE TO TELL US WHAT GOD SHOWS YOU!

       If you will help us bath this ministry in prayer, we will abound to the work of the Harvest Together, and David will live out a long life and fullfill all his days and his assignments on many more books for God and all of you!
